Our mission is to make pallet wrapping easy, safe, and secure. We do that by combining firsthand experience with old-fashioned American ingenuity. We built a tool that’s easy to use and prevents wrapping-related injuries. Other manual wrap dispensers are slow, inefficient, and uncomfortable. Users left with sore backs, burned hands, and unsafe pallets.
At Nelson Wrap Dispenser, we make the safest and easiest manual wrap dispensers you will ever use. We have accomplished this by recognizing harmful practices and ergonomic issues. We build our tools to address these problems.
Our commitment is worker safety. And to USA-manufactured products. 90% of our components are produced in Pennsylvania. The other parts are manufactured in Ohio and California.
The Nelson Wrap Dispenser is built for healthy alignment. It is not uncommon to find shipping department employees bending over in awkward positions or walking backwards around a skid in an attempt to wrap a load while using common dispensers. These practices are obviously unsafe. In contrast, the Nelson Wrap Dispenser is designed for safety first with industrial durability. By removing the need to bend down to wrap low loads or reach up to wrap high stacks, the Nelson Wrap Dispenser is a remarkable back saver. It allows the operator to wrap a skid in a natural, upright, forward motion. The Nelson Wrap Dispenser brings superior ergonomics and durability to the shipping industry. The aluminum construction, combined with self-oiling components and consistent application, allows for a load to be quickly and easily wrapped. An operator-adjusted tension control, paired with a hand brake, ensures you have the tightest wrap needed for your particular application. The Nelson Wrap Dispenser—the tool that saves your health and budget.
Years ago, inventor Nelson Phero worked in a warehouse where he wrapped many skids every day. After some time as a pallet wrapper, he questioned whether there was a better tool for this task. This backbreaking work of pallet wrapping was wearing on his body. As he searched, he found no solutions. That’s when he got to work, creating an industrial product that would take the pain out of his job.
Nelson built his first dispenser from a broken squeegee and a pipe clamp. As he used it, other workers and truck drivers would say, “Hey, we need a tool for this job.
He went to the drawing board to create a stretch wrap tool that was durable and ergonomic. After building the prototype, he presented the tool for testing with a trucking company. Nelson’s industrial tools company was born.
To this day, Nelson Wrap Dispenser is a family-owned and operated business. We improve the task of manual wrapping in corporate warehouses and small businesses all around the globe.
